And yet you caught as many decent fish as we did. ZERO.
On the way back in we did catch a snake trash fish and a cuda, but we trolled like crazy at the Scarp for nothing.
But, to the good side…at least we were able to enjoy choppy conditions going out, two of the group puking, and then the extreme fun of trying to get around the massive thunderstorms and waterspouts on the way in. If it got any better I couldn’t stand it.

sorry to hear that, someone who fished fri in the mid 800’s caught 6-7 mahi, a king and a sail, none on the break, all inside in 120-130ft.

Don’t feel like the lone ranger here, we went on Friday and worked the washing machine at the Scarp for 3 small kings,3 slinger mahi and 2 cudas. Not much to show for $725.00 worth of fuel.
Oh well fun was had by all! Do you think the water is to warm on the Scarp right now?
Twice this year i could not go where i wanted due to weather,so mother nature dictated where we went…both days we did better than most others…simply amazing…

Don, we fished the Scarp in the middle of May and end the day with one BFT. Not a great day for sure.
You are a good man for posting the good along with the bad. Thanks for all your posts.
Weather willing, we are running to the Scarp on 6/28 on Undecided. Hope the fish show up in decent numbers.
