What’s the closest one to Wappoo Cut? We always buy ours in Scummerville, but looking for something close to the cut for this weekend.
Thanks.

you talking about those stand-alone 20lbs for $1.50 ones? they are better than Crosby’s price for bulk ice. there is one on Hwy 17 in front of the Doschers but I don’t know of a closer one to the Cut.

Yeah, thats what I’m looking for, a 24hour deal. Is there one closer on the Jim Island side of the Cut?
And Bonzo, I got your message. I’ll call you back this afternoon with some details. Not sure of what exactly is happening, but I definatly want to still go according to the plan man.

Have a back up plan, that 1 on 17 has let me down more than once…
There is another one by the Hot Wheels roller rink on JI. Quarters only as has been mentioned.
Umm, you gonna eat that?©
If you are coming from S’ville via the I, there is one on CP road right off the I next to the Waffle House. I use that one all the time. It is the closest one to Crowfield. It has only let me down once or twice where I had to use the one close to Sangaree. It will take 1s, quarters, dimes and nickels. No dollar coins though. ![]()

One on Camp road across from Gilroys Pizza. It takes BILLS and quarters. There are two machines straight across from one another but, only one has been working lately.
bi-lo is always open 24hrs, not sure if there is once close to the cut because i fish out of IOP, but that is where I go. I think its 1.75 a bag for 20lbs.

There is one on Maybank on John’s Island, just past the Kangaroo on the right, behind the little check casher.

i never complained about ice and we usually have over 200lbs on board…i was just glad to actually be able to fish as much as i wanted too…
just be thankful you can even think about fishing…
There is a Gas Station called Blue Water on the left side of Folly Rd. right past Lowes that gives away free ice to anyone who pulls up with a boat. They have a machine and will give you as many 5 gallons buckets full as you want… They have a good sized beer cave too just point to your boat at the cashier and they will give you the bucket!

That’s pretty interesting.
Even if you want 140 lbs?

Not sure on 140lbs, I always fill my 150qt cooler though, its not too big of a ice machine, so if its saturday or sun it usually isnt full…
