Last time I thought ‘I Found it’ was when I remembered that Richard Pryor was in the Billie Holiday movie, Lady Sings The Blues. But… no go. 
Maybe it didn’t happen but, I have this clear image of the big Mafia guy looking at his hand as he mimics the ice pick move and saying in disbelief, (something like) “I’m standing there with a stick in my hand. I looked like a f-n idiot!”
