Went out yesterday with a buddy and some first timers. The wind was steady all day but not so bad you couldn’t cast. We pulled a couple under slot reds out of the grass on the last hour of the incoming tide, had a couple breakoffs due to oysters and lost a slot fish at the boat due to my poor coaching of the newbie. But the guests did get to land their first reds and had a blast despite the chill. All were caught on cut finger mullet.
