ICW fishing today.

Left My dock around 0830 and noticed as soon as I got on the ICW the wind picked up.It was hard to see pushes but I threw the Zman at any water disturbance.I was alone and It is hard for this old Man to position the boat in the wind and hit a spot.I am not going to use the troll motor and sit up on the bow if alone.I decided to work all the docks in front of Me deep.Rigged a Zman and let it rip.I would drift pass and chunk away. After about and hour of this I decided the wind was a pain in the arse.Water was clear to 3 feet and in most places 51.5.Beautiful day.I left and was on the boat lift at 11:30.

Sounds like my morning. Took a little longer for the wind to pick up north of the IOP. We ended with about a dozen small reds and a trout. Current was moving pretty well early on. All of our fish were caught on mud minnows on the bottom.

Fished Seewee Bay. Gale force from 2-4:30 when I gave up. I think I broke my trolling motor trying to stay in one place. I’ll fish in the rain, freeze, heat, but not wind. It makes you crazy.

I was around IOP in a kayak all day…very frustrating.

Took the dog to the beach first thing and decided to not even splash the boat, too windy. Ready for spring.

I managed a handful of black drum but they were all under the slot -_-
