ICW North Reds

Sorry for the late report. We took advantage of the beautiful Saturday last weekend to try our low tide luck on the schooling reds. Took out north and hit up the usual spot suspects. A frenzy of dolphin slamming the shore gave away the thick schools. We proceeded to set up shop and pick at the school for an hour or so. We caught 5 on a clouser type pattern and 4 or so on a white jerk shad gulp. They were fairly small and very lethargic, but it was a beautiful day and we’ll take any accommodating schools. We never spooked the school and gave up after the tide got too high.
