The family is headed down to the Mt. Pleasant/Charleston area Saturday. I am looking for a neat spot to photo our son for our Christmas card. Any ideas in the vacinity area are appreciated.
We have one place in Georgetown we are stopping on the way down.
I just hope it doesn’t rain.

Beach behind the fort on sullivans, you can get the bridge and stuff in background
If the beach is too windy, try Palmetto Island County Park off Longpoint Road.
We did our pictures there a few weeks ago.

Parking at fort on Sullivans, I have it pulled up on Google Earth. Is that public parking on 12st street? Is that where you access the beach?

Maybe too late now?but yes, you can park on 12 street on the left and the beach is right there.

Thanks all. We made a stop in an old section of Georgetown on the way to Mt. Pleasant. I am glad we did. Not long after we got to Mt. Pleasant it started raining and didn’t let up til dark.
