If anyone knows who the white proline fishing the

Shady grady yesterday afternoon, tell him thank you…

Looked to be about 20 ft cuddy with big blue proline on the side, looked like a man and woman…

He was bottom fishing and we were king fishing,we hooked up and it headed straight for his boat,we hollered at you and you moved, you probably were thinking WTH!lol…

I hope the fish gods were kind to you,you have good karma coming your way…thank you…

Turned out to be a bonita but with 2lbs of drag he was dumping that reel fast…

Seriously??? You hollared at a guy bottom fishing to move because you could not control a bonita??? I’ve heard everything now. You should be ashamed!!

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day. FISH 24/7---- 25 Grady w/ a couple of Gas Guzzling 175 Johnsons “O-SEA-D” the old “Havanadaydream”

He was a nicer guy than me. If i’m on anchor and I dont see a world class sail, whoo or Phin i’m not moving for anybody. Pulling up 100’s of feet of anchor line isnt what my friends like doing (I drive the boat, I dont pull anchor line). Dont mean to sound like a a#*, but. Glad you got your fish.

pulling anchors is for rookies and idiots, buy a ring and a poly-ball.

we figured all that stuff out in the 80’s,back when fishing was real fun.

He was drifting.not anchored…

Would never expect someone to pull anchor and besides if its a big king you would be able to pull it fast enough…

Some of y’all folks are quick to jump to conclusions. Gut Wrench never said the man was anchored, he just said thank you for him moving so he could play his fish.

X2 on the anchor ball. Bolbie was a little slow, we figured that out in the 60’s  Anybody who is pulling up 50 pounds of anchor and chain from 100’ of water needs to be shown how to use an anchor ball. Let physics do the work, not your back.

Gut Wrench if he wasnt anchored up what was the problem?

Bolbie, Got an anchor ball. I always let the first timers pull the anchor before I bust it out, unless they ask " whats that big orande rubber ball?". Especially since it?s in the same box as the anchor rope. Live and learn.

There was no problem except the fish and us was headed right towards him…

Jesus what started as a thread thanking somebody for having common courtesy turns into this crap, only on this site…smfh…

Maybe dic_ is not just a nickname for Richard.

Gut wrench has gone beyond extra ordinary to help out folks and taken many out fishing that would not have been able to go otherwise. Nice to see.

big dog

I thought it was a great post Bobby

Another U Turned thread on CF.com Sorry to see when you go out of your way to thank a boat and it’s crew you simply become the bad guy…

Bob is a great guy, he just proved it here by thanking a fellow fisherman for showing a little courtesy, and he gets jumped on by a bunch of idiots. This site amazes me more and more each time I come for a visit.
