I will triple that about the bubbler. Always been my most hit lure.

Actually, most lures are made to catch fishermens cash,and do a great job! Mahi will bite what ever you make available. Position in the wake is more important that lure design.
I used to use a red fired 12 guage shotgun shell left over from turkey season with the primer drilled out & an 8/0 hook on wire. Never made me feel bad when I lost one. Caught a lot of fish on these! I also like wild turkey feathers tied to a chunk of lead!
