well, you just wouldnt understand:smiley: This morning pouring cold rain caught 23 reds. just as the tide turned and started coming in and the rain started. Ranged in size from 14 to 25 inches. Best part is: i got not only my first red OTF, but my first seven! A 23 inch red fish fights hard in current on a 6 wt! I was catching them on live shrimp under a cork and when i got to 16 i decided to try the fly rod. They stopped biting and the rain stopped too. I thought about fishing longer but i only had a few shrimp left and my hands were so wet and cold and my feet were too. and my butt from the water running down while i was bent over messing with all those fish. Thinking about going back out now that i am dry!

this was the only pic i took b/c it was my first salt water fish on the fly rod.

Nice job, I went out as well. I apparently need to work on my inshore game, didnā€™t do nearly as well.

Thanks guys.I was fishing in creeks off of the stono. I have no idea what the fly is called but i only have like ten so i picked a shrimp looking one since that is that they were eating.
