The fist event was Sept 09 and looking forward to fishing several more next year. The IFA does a first class job and Hobie is a great sponsor. ALthough I might be a bit biased.

March 21st… some of the toughest fishing for this area. I can’t wait!

I can not find the locations for 2010. If someone could post the link to help with my stupid that would be great. I would like to fish atleast two next year.

The fishing was good; it was the catching that was bad. </font id=“size2”>

has anyone talked to them about the rules and regulations for the kayak division??? I emailed and haven’t gotten a reply back yet. I’m hoping the entry fee is a little less for the kayak division also. anyway, if anyone has anymore info on this please let me indulge myself as I’m wanting to fish at least one of these.

yeah the entry is cheaper the rules and prices will be up in the next week or so the brochure has just gone to the printer. i have spoken with jerry stakely and he will be coming next month to speak at my club meeting for the east cooper fishing club

Aa little cheaper but not cheap. This is a high end tourney with some great prizes. I’d also suggest to everyone to make the trek to Jacksonville for the Jax Classic. Biggest Kayak Tourney there is and a great event.

The IFA runs a great tourney. I was able to fish the Titusville Tourney last year. The entry fee last year was $100.00. The one negative about the tourney is the extra 2 to 3 hours it takes after the weigh in for the lie detector test. Live Bait is not allowed and only one rod can be used at a time. Last year it was a CPR tournament with a slam to win. There have been some changes suggested for the tournaments this year, such as cumlative lenght of 3 bass rather than the slam.

Polygraph for everyone??? Really… Thats f’ed up that they have to do that… I guess having integrity my whole life makes me blind to the BS some people pull… I am not sure I want to be involved in a tourney that has people like that fishin… but then again when you have that much money in prizes and stuff I guess “that-guy” will always be there screwing it up for the rest of us…

Looks like a great tournament. I’m in.

Nikon no worries for you on the poly, only the winners have to take the test.

Couple years ago somebody was caught trying to cheat at the JAX Tournament.

Looks like I won’t have to worry about the poly if its only for the winners

  1. BWAA HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  2. It happens. especially when the stakes get high. Take a look at yesterday’s USA today for the top sports cheating scandals of the decade.

Looks like the slam will be just the trout and bass, and live bait can be used. Hate to see that. Would like to see it all Arty like the tour.
