Anyone here fishing the tournament in march? I didnt see a deadline to register, does anyone know if there is one?
i think deadline is the captains meeting Friday night. I’ll be in it if my wrist is healed. That’s a big question mark at this point.

Not sure I will participate…
I’m not happy about the rule changes(live/cut bait). My luck with flounder and trout is lacking and haven’t boated any reds over 26" this year. To spend 100$ -I have to feel competitive.
I do hope for a big turnout.

DD they added live bait to the kayak tournament.
Also got rid of the 3 fish slam, now you just need to catch a trout and bass.
Cut, its only a $100.00 and for a man of your means that’s peanuts. After all you don’t have a wife to spend all your money so what else do you need to spend money on but fishing.

they added live bait after following a whole lot of forum threads that showed participation would be WAY UP if live bait were allowed.
ypu’ve got to remember that tournaments are marketing campaigns and numbers are the key measure.

Still only allowed one rod in the water at a time? I guess live or cut bait is allowed?
