Ignition Packs From CDI Electronics

I have a two stroke 30hp Yamaha that appears to have a bad ignition pack(computer/CDI). Has anyone bought the CDI Electronics manufactured units that are available for outboards? They are cheaper than the original Yamaha part. Looking to save an little cash.

IF I RESPOND IN ALL CAPS, ITS NOT ON PURPOSE, AND I AM NOT YELLING

Appreciate the advice. I have checked the resistance values on ignition coils, pulser coil, charge coil. All OK. Changed plugs. Have had intermittent losses of power all summer. Mostly at higher rpms after some time runtime. Sounds like it is dropping plug firing. Generally can idle down then go back running. It is getting more frequent. My guess is ignition module. I am thinking it is not fuel because it would run good for some trips then act up.I guess Yamaha will sell a part.

Just went through this with my motor 2004 25hp Yamaha. It would warm up and loose power when the power pack would get hot. But my ignition coil and wiring harness also failed all at once, not a cheap fix!
