I asked about my ignition system on my 2001 f25 yamaha awhile ago and finally got around to checking it. I am getting between 100-130 volts coming from my CDI to the ignition coil and then nothing when I put the positive lead in the spark plug cap and ground the negative on the motor. Is it safe to say that my ignition coil is bad? Or maybe I am testing the ignition coil the wrong way. Thanks.
