Sometimes when I turn the key hard it makes a sound like the battery is low. But if I turn the key lightly, it cranks every time. What say you?

You are going past the contact points and not getting full contacts to the relay for the starter sol. or your ignition switch is spinning (not locked down tight enough with the jam nut)instead of the key turning the chuck inside
