I'm screwed - Help

Ok, I think I am screwed. My bay boat (which does not bottom paint) has been in the water all season and it is like Finding Nemo on the bottom now. What’s my best bet? Have a diver scrape and then get it hauled and sanded and painted (I would like to have it painted a dark color like midnight blue). Or would a haul-out be easier than a diver trying to manage?

Haul it out scrape it and acid wash it… It’ll be squeaky clean afterwards will probably surprise you.

You’ve got to have it hauled anyway to paint it and it’s a lot easier to scrape it standing on dry land than it is upside down under water. I would skip the diver expense and go straight for a haul out.

Thanks guys - I’m gonna take her up the Wando to City Boat Yard and they’re gonna haul it out and go to work…
