The growing economy comes coupled with other good economic news: Inflation is slowing, and unemployment sits at just 3.6 percent.

Last year, I paid to have a 5’ sliding shower door installed in a bathroom we remodeled. It was right at $1,500. I went back to the same company to get a quote on the same door, only a bit smaller. This year, $2,400. When I asked why, I was told, “everything has gone up”.
