In Charleston tomorrow

I am going to be staying at the Hampton Inn - Historic Charleston tomorrow through Sunday. I wanted to see if anyone knew of any fishing piers in walking distance in the area so I know if I should bring a rod in my golf bag or not to kill some time. Any help is welcomed!

Waterfront Park pier. I don’t think it’s safe to walk at night.

It’s safe. Lots of students at college of charleston walk up and down that stretch at all hours of the night (speaking from experience). Also this time of year there will be lots of out of towners in that area. I don’t see many people fish that pier, but I don’t know what it wouldn’t be a decent spot to try.
