$5 Lock N Lock, better than any “marine” specific box.
For your phone I would get a life proof case!!! Worth the money. Wouldn’t trust my phone in any other case. I have tested it very well.

Those plastic containers that nuts come in work great. They are about a half gallon in size and have a screw top. Buy some cashews, mixed nuts, etc. and when you are done eating them, you have a good waterproof container. I’ve also used an empty cat litter container and an empty Gatorade powder container, all in my kayak. Not as stylish as a Pelican case, but very efficient. If I wanted to step it up a notch, I’d get on of the Plano boxes with a seal. The air in any of the containers mentioned here will keep it afloat.
