I just picked up a small fiberglass flats skiff. I need to do a few repairs and cosmetic work before it’s ready to hit the water so I am looking for a place to store it but also have access to electricity to run a sander, etc and work on it. Everything I’ve seen seems to be around $10/ft for boat yards but seeing it there are any other options out there that I am not seeing or thinking of.
Don’t have have space at my house which is why I am looking for another option.

That’s an option, just trying to find something a bit closer to me. I am located on the peninsula so within a 15min drive would be ideal. That is closer to 30min from me.
Find a girl friend with a garage!
Make sure you ask the boat lot if they allow you to work on your boat. I store mine at Sewee Outpost and they do not allow any major work to be done there on the lot. Would suck to spend the money to get into a boat lot and not be allowed to work on your boat! Good luck with your search!

Thanks for the heads up Reaper. Looks like i’ll be doing most of the sanding work in the lot behind my house but will eventually need to find a clean / covered place to do the glass work and paint.
