Inshore 6-29

Left work on Wed. afternoon and heading out to catch some redfish. We disregarded the ominous dark clouds & thunderstorm warnings and somehow got lucky…

Fished behind Bull Island on a half tide & rising with no luck. Came back in the waterway and headed north, and began fishing a grass edge on the ICW at high tide. We casted corks w/ blue crab chunks in the flooded grass and pulled two nice reds out before heading back in. The wind was whipping which made poling the boat interesting…

Peapod–good call, that is my brother.

Mombakc, we did get the number off the tag. I need to follow up with my brother to make sure he turned it in.

Bugs, not my Boykin but she was an entertaining little fellow. And vicious when menhaden were flopping on the deck! That’s a pretty Boykin you have also.

Have a great 4th wknd!
