Inshore Bottom Fishing

Fished with Ben Polk again yesterday and made a trip out of it. Most fish caught 120’ or less.
We did mange 3 dolphin on the ledge 10-20lbs. We caught them while sitting on the anchor grouper fishing.

We ended up with:
2 gags
3 ARS (too many shorts released safely)
10 or so Scamp
30 BSB
B Liners
Pinks
Etc.

One of the perks of working on the T-Star is that I have got to learn the area. Other than that, I am a self made business owner. But thanks for inquires about all of the numbers I am stealing from my friends and part time employer @ the T-Star. I guess that is other peoples style, but not mine. I am a Christian business owner that operates with integrity. Those that know me, know this.

Now back to your folly.

Everybody is always talking about numbers, but I put some on eBay and nobody bidded on them.

I guess I will go back to selling other stuff…

Glad you’re back safely

pro tip… Don’t set up on oyster beds. This creates a situation that is catostrophic to your net.

I would like to say that the #s Phin game me are still in the great hands of my wife. They are good #s and they hold fish. Right Jerms? Remember the day we went and found that nice bottom? that was one of phins. But hey that is a big piece of water and if you can get help with #s I say go for it. Thanks again Phin you made my Family Day a great day.

Sadly, that spot will be shut down by the Edisto Banks MPA I believe.

It might be an interesting fact for discussion of “numbers” to know that the Tstar does not even use “numbers.”

“Numbers” are not the key to consistent daily/weekly success in my recreational, 17’ bote owning, internet blabbering, Avet spamming opinion. When you know the area and the bottom from going over it almost daily, you don’t have to fish “numbers.”

Luke 8:22-25

ok then, can you email me some coordinates then?? I’ll label them with my own numbers…:stuck_out_tongue:

So why was there a scramble last night when you could run 37 MPH in the ocean?
