I’m looking for someone willing to show me around a little.I am fairly new to saltwater fishing and really want to learn a few spots around the Charleston area or ashepoo river as I live in Walterboro. I have mainly fished the edisto river out of Jelico’s landing.

My biggest worry is I have a microskiff (Gheenoe) and open water is not an option unless it is very calm since I take my son (12) with me every time.Boat is very stable and will handle moderate chop but it is not enjoyable.

Would be willing to meet up with someone or would like to take them in my boat if they want to fish skinny (4" draft with 2 adults). Can’t follow speed boats either as it only runs 20-22 MPH with 2 adults

That’s a great boat for the skinny water!! For spottails you might like Grey Bay and those areas behind IOP, the upper Cooper around Bushy Park, and around the North bridge Ashley River area. There’s no ramp there but you could handle the boat on/off I think. You might post this in Fly section also.</font id=“blue”>
