Inshore fishing with my bro

Headed out of Bushy Park around 6:30 to do some inshore fishing with my little brother yesterday. The wind was howling and the temps were low but we were ready to do some serious fishing in the 14ft Jon. We ended up with 2 fat over slot reds, 1 under slot and 4 nice blue cats. We used frozen shrimp and mud minnows but the reds favored mud minnows. We did run into some large schools of mullet in the creeks.

Yep...

But, fish in hand cancels ALL of my little smarty comments from the past.

Yeah too bad hunting seasons over we could have done some surf and turf. Snapping my knee as I write :slight_smile:
