Glad to see this forum up! Such a great idea.

I’d be glad to take some good inshore rods/reels if anyone has some collecting dust. Just let me know what you have and what you’d like for them.

Nothing against swapping stuff but you can get inshore rod and reel combos under $60. get something new with a warranty

Sure you can get them that cheap, but just like the old addage says ‘you get what you pay for’

I have been fishing with a single St. Croix rod with a nice Daiwa spinner that I dropped a pretty penny on for several years now, and it has clearly out performed and lasted longer then any of my ‘$60 rod and reel combos.’

By the way, these rods have never been used - they’ve been stored inside since I bought them for Jack over a year ago. He prefers long butt rods which is the only reason they’ve never been used. G-Loomis won’t warrant them if we switch out the butts…

Asking 300 for both as I paid over 400 bucks for them at the annual CCA auction. Haddrell’s donated them to CCA who took care of the logo and all. PM me if you’d like additional information. Happy to provide.

Thanks Andi! It was a pleasure to meet you too. I can’t wait to get these out in the new boat, and hopefully live up to my promise.
