Late Report fished Tuesday the 4th.
Finally got the days to line up after talking about fishing for 6 years with Ralph Phillips from EyeStrike Fishing.
Got to mess around with the newest of ZMan colors, also played around with the new 4" Jerk Shad (Awesome baits) Topwater in the AM, switching over to some YoZuri Twitchbaits. Then finishing the day with some Jerk ShadZ, MinnowZ, and Slim SwimZ. 60+ Fish. Awesome Day. Biggest fish edged 5lbs.

I’m starting to think Mr. Phillips’ success is somehow related to them stogies. Never seen him holdin’ a gator without one. And Fladd ain’t gonna rat on him, so we’ll never really know. Just sayin’…

Larry we were using the Finesse TroutEye paired with the 2.5 Slim SwimZ in Blue Glimmer Sparkle. I also had a 3" Smelt Slim too. Just a few of the baits.

They fish exactly the same. I fish 3 hard rips and a stop allowing it to resuspend. I was lucky enough to fish with some of the YoZuri guys down in Florida and tour their facility thats how I got keyed into those baits. They don’t rattle as loud though. Sometimes I find that good, others not good.
