Inshore slam

Got out for a quickey yesterday despite the beautiful weather. Got 2 cute trout and a flounder in my first 45min using TT and some advice from Optiker. Decided to go after my inshore slam. Headed to a spot that has been good the last couple weeks. Waited about 30 min for the tide to drop a little and got my red, cute as well. Was headed back in and decided to swing by one more spot. First cast 21" trout and about 5 min later a 20. These have been my first nice sized trout all year. Thanks Optiker.

Way to go OV!!!

Gonna go by hadrells after work and pick up some big eye jigs. Are they only in 1/8oz? I’ll try a couple out, but they are a little pricey for me especially when I can loose a handful over one oyster bank.

They are the least expensive quality jighead on the market. In comparison to others

I always buy a 100 pack of the orange 1/4oz for grubs and paddlers and they do me good and last me all year. Just trying the TT again this year, didn’t have much success last year but I know now I was also fishing them wrong. These were all caught with gamagatzu 3/16. I have trouble getting 1/8oz to the bottom in the current. I will love not having to poke the paint out of the eye hole

Just picked up a couple packs. Very sharp hooks. Landed about 15 fish yesterday using them. My FIL had some trouble hooking up until he too switched over to the trout eye.

OV, they are actually appprox 3/16 oz. We only offer them in one weight. They are a premium jighead and comparable in price to others in their class (premium hook, 3D eyes). And, they are made locally, in Charleston. And sold at a local retailer.

I picked up a few at Haddrell’s while I was down this weekend. Can’t wait to get back down and try them.

Just ordered a bunch from the website. I expect to lose a few to the oysters.

did a double take with the centimeter ruler on that cooler… still a nice pair of trout though!

Do we know exactly what hook is used?

Earn it everyday…
