Inshore Tomorrow

Am I seeing the forecast for tomorrow correctly? 15 - 20 Kts, gusting to 25? I am chomping at the bit to get on the water but driving down from Cola to get blown around and skunked is hard to do. May have to wait until mid-week to see if yak conditions are better. Anyone going out tomorrow?

Unless they upped it, last I saw not that bad. Not ideal, but fishable.

Hell yeah I’m going out tomorrow! Hike up your skirt and get down here!

Heading out to Bushy Park in the am. Hope the wind is nice to me. Probably will end up in the back of a creek somewhere.

Okay Vin, you shamed me. The skirt has been hiked up and the truck is loaded. Connor and I will be putting in at Remley’s and plan to head up the Wando. Not sure how early we will get down there (watching the game tonight with friends and a couple of beverages) but I’ll give you a holler when we hit the Wando. Oh, is there still any bait in the creeks? If not, it will be an artificial adventure and we don’t fair so well with artys. Oh well, it will beat sitting at home wondering if we would have caught anything.

See you tomorrow.

See you & Connor out there. If we figure out what they are liking we’ll pass that info along.

I wish I could be out there with y’all tomorrow. Got the crud Thursday and still fighting it. I’m hoping I can go later this week, wind or no wind.

Dfreedom I haven’t fished the wando this winter yet…but I jave fished it for along time so I’ll try to help you out. The bait is getting scarce but who cares? I prefer catching fish on lures to bait any day. Gulp has been working in the cooper, outfishing bait ironically. I don’t know what you plan on fishing for, but the wando terminal is loaded with trout if you troll soft plastics on a jig head. Reds are taking the lures when the retrive is slow. Also PM sent!
