We put in about 7am from Duncans. Not the best day on the water, but we did manage to catch about 10 BSB, 4 or 5 whiting and 1 shark. Wanted to get out before the crazies got too bad, so got back to the landing about 1pm. Two idjuts were set up on the end of the boat dock sitting in their chairs fishing…as there were boats in and out taking up much needed room. Another put in what appeared to be 24 or 25’ cuddy cabin and decided to back it in and tie up as soon as he got in, pulling out and loading his entire crew and gear taking up 1 lane of the ramp for at least 20 minutes while others were waiting in line. I usually don’t say anything to these fools, but for some reason, yesterday I did. When I pulled out, stopped to pull the plug out and tie the straps down. When I got home, started thinking about that and guess I left the plug on my ladder platform…gone. Then while washing the boat, got out my favorite pair of work gloves while trimming trees and laid them on the ladder platform as well. When I took the boat to my parking area, woosh, gloves gone. Moral of the story, I should have kept my mouth shut. Need some good karma like J-Dizzle. Maybe I’m the idiot…lesson learned. Fortunately, not too hard a way to learn! As my Dad taught me, think twice before speaking once.

Your misfortune might save someone the same headaches you faced. How will these people ever learn if we don’t inform them? Just do it politely with the guise of trying to help (you really are, even if mad) and all is well. If they don’t want to accept your advice, then to hell with them.

Yeah…ordinarily would not have had a problem with either during the week when few are out and about. But on JULY 4th??? When the whole world is trying to get in and out of the water? C’mon man!

No sounds like you’re memory is just bad. Tell them how it is hopefully is will speed their behinds up.

I drove through that parking lot yesterday and you guys are right. That place is one big screw up. Those drive through lanes are really stupid. Going out frontwards puts you going the wrong way. I can just see 2 trucks with trailers meeting in the middle of a lane. There were cars parked in the short make ready lane.
