Insulated Fish Bags

Comparing the size of our current ice chest against what the Capt wants to catch and mount on her wall, an upgrade is in order, but where to put it on the boat is an issue. Insulated Fish Bags may be a solution for us. There appear to be many online to choose from. Has anybody had any experience or heard reports of these items?

They work very good and do not take up much space until you need one, just need some ice them depending on how much longer you are going to stay after you catch the wall hanger

That or you can keep a camera, measuring tape and get measurements and pics and get a fiberglass reproduction

If you do not have a tape you can use some string and cut for girth and length

Thanks for the info. First hand experience is such a plus which is why I asked. If we do purchase, and probably will, it won’t be bottom of the line. Wasn’t aware of the just pictures and measurement criteria. If the magic moment does arise, I want to be ready. Don’t want to walk into a shop with a shriveled fish.
