Uninsured & underinsured. Very important. Ambulance ride and a night in the ICU will easily eat up S.C. $25,000 minimum coverage. And us being a tourist area, some states are as low as 10,000. And if it was someone else’s fault. Don’t even think that your Blue Cross/health insurance is going to be any help.
I carry the max I believe $250,000 that my insurance company will cover. But the important thing is they stack. So I have several vehicles covered. And what I mean by stacked is if I have 8 vehicles covered .I have $2 million in coverage. And of course they all have to be with the same company.
