The trim on my Yamaha F40LA started working intermittently. It will trim, then will not, then back to trimming. When it is not working, both the trim switch on the throttle and motor just click. I am guessing the trim relay is going bad? Any thoughts?
Yes, most likely the relay! Simple fix and not very expensive either.
