These rod/reel combo’s have been in my garage for 2 years unused. The PENN cloth bags that the reels were in must have held water and caused some surface corrosion, hence the roughness. The rods are your typical BassPro or whatever…
The mechanics are 100% on the reels. I was going to send them to Penn for service but figured someone might want a deal locally.
