Hello Folks,
I just found this site and joined earlier today.
Just want to introduce myself. My name is Jim Hatch.
I’m primarily a fly fisher though most of my recent
efforts have been warmwater in Lake Moultrie. I spend
a lot of time doing battle with the shellcrackers on a
little two weight and scuds. Much fun. This year I hope
to extend my season a mite and get back into the salt.
For some years I fished the salt with spinning gear and
much enjoyed the spec’s and spottails. I’ll be following
your posts and looking for clues to get back into the
salt, with the long rod this time. I’ve been tying flies
for some years and look forward to getting into some
saltwater tying. I have a fair amount of experience in
the lower Cooper and Wando and the creeks through Daniels
Island. Hoping to hook up with someone to share current
knowledge on whats working in the local salt in exchange
for some killer shellcracker and channel cat on the fly
come spring. Warm regards, Jim
