iPhone Apps for fishing

Tried doing a search, but it seems to not work for me. What apps do you have on your phone for fishing? I was searching through the App Store, any recommendations?

TideGraph

I second TideGraph.
I’m eventually going to put an app I wrote up, probably as a free app. It has the water temps in all the Charleston tributaries, as well as the actual vs predicted tide, so you can see if the tide is +/- predicted, etc. I use it all the time myself, and its good for tailing red planning. I’ll let you know when its posted. Its a low priority for me now though.

iPhone apps are written in objective C right? Need to read up on that. Thinking of creating my own little app.

P4G. Affirmative, Obj C. You can take a Stanford course on the subject for free. Thats what I did. I’m already a programmer and familiar w/ c and objective programming however.

I’m a dev too. I’m a horrible artist though. May need to outsource some of the UI. Oh, EveryTrail is also a good app.

a dnr length may help too

Navionics app for the iPhone is great. You can get all of the Altantic coast for $15. It has detailed GPS images of water ways as well as Google Earth overlay. I have used it as far as Cappers Reef and it was on the money (as good as my Garmin GPS). It has tide charts as well. Like a second GPS. I don’t know how far out it works ( without cell signal). I still had a cell signal at Cappers Reef. It’s supposed to use the GPS chip as well as cell triangulation.

Ifishing saltwater, It makes me feel like i can actually catch some fish while out there
