Is a Sharp Prop a Good Prop?

Noticed the other day my prop on my 150Vmax is seriously sharp, as in razor sharp now. Much, much sharper than when the prop was new. Is this telling me my prop is wearing down/out? Am I losing hole shot, top end or adding slip? Should I even be concerned?

Typically props wear down over time. Blades get thinner, edges smooth over, etc. Especially if you run through mud or sand.

Take it in to Skipps in North Charleston.

Good guy and knows props. He may be able to rework it, bring back your performance and extend the props life.

IF I RESPOND IN ALL CAPS, ITS NOT ON PURPOSE, AND I AM NOT YELLING

Be carefull removeing and handling it, I had one cut me and had to have 11 stiches one 4th of July

It would make you a good back up prop to keep as a spare. Never know when you may spin a hub or hit something.
