I’ve been to the bay for opening day and this morning and did ok both times. Half plus cooler and could have been more if I stayed. I planned on the harbor tonight but after hearing so many people say the harbor was a dud last night I’m wondering if the bay would be good tonight. I think I have enough trips in and out on the gps tracking I could find my way in and out ok.
It does fine at night but, the beauty of BB is you usually don’t have to go at night (Friday not withstanding).
Due to tide or work conditions I have skimped BB at night many times.
My expierence has been no better than Day time Skrimpin.
We ended up heAding to the harbor since it was closer. 65 shrimp at 11 pm we pulled poles and headed in. I regretted leaving the bay earlier in the day when I did and was pulling 60-80 shrimp per pass. Left early to spend time with my wife (dont get away from home often together) knowing I was going back out that night.
