Started my hunt for a kayak. Figured I’d go ahead and start my research now. I’ve been lurking this section for awhile and have not seen this brand mentioned. From what I read it’s a bigger SOT.
I’m too much of a noob to have a cool signature. (sad face)
Go to Time Out in Mt P and talk to Dave Hamilton, Dolphin D taught me about all I know about yaks, and he’ll hook ya up. He can show you the best yaks for the money and you can rent a slew of them to test paddle to see if you like it. a lot of people buy a yak and sell it shortly afterwards because they don’t like the stability, or the handling or it’s too small/big/heavy, or the seat sux or… well ya get the idea. Also if you can hold off til April the East Coast Canoe and Kayak Festival will be at JICP, TONS of manufactures there and you can test paddle just about every yak on the market. It’s worth he time to test padle and make sure what you get is what you want. There are several of us on here who have a slew of different boats and I am sure we can set you up to test paddle a few before then if ya want. Also check us out at www.sckayakfishing.com all kayaks and there are a bunch of guys from all over the state that can help you out. Good luck and let us know how to help ya out!!!
