sullivans mud landing?

strip…strip…FISH ON!

Wow…

-Lewis

I saw a scene like that last year in Murrell’s Inlet. Guy’s truck was sitting in about 10" of water with him sitting in a lawn chair in the back, fishing.

Those guys must be from Ohio…

I was there on Saturday. When I was paddling down the road, a guy in a skiff pulled his boat right up on his trailer. It doesn’t get any more convenient than that.

If two wrongs don’t make a right, try three.

I still want to try and catch a tailer on that road one day…

LMAO i didnt do it!!! ive definately learned the tide cycle being here 2 years now so must have been the ohio tourists that were scared of the 9 point buck running around the beach that eventually drowned itself.

I paddled my yak about 100 yards up the Sta 26 landing road last November. I was glad I parked as far up as I did

I got there around 8:30 and saw the black truck. The red truck came in after me and said there is no pluff mud and the road is mostly oyster shells. High tide was 9:15 am. Took out around low tide and the whole place was a mess. But easily 6 trucks parked and folks coming and going, so it gets use. Not sure I’ll be back though.

Many go fishing all of their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after.

blackbart def no offense taken i thought that was funny! although im no sc native i definately find tourists to be quite entertaining myself at times and honestly was waiting for someone to blame an ohioan. you have any idea how much fun i have with people coming down to visit when i walk em by a spot or 2 on base likely to hold a 6-8 foot gator and not tell em or send em pics of me with 5 foot sharks in my arms??? definately different fishing/hunting than what im used to back home but nice to realize that ive adjusted about as good as i can for being limited to base piers with the exception of the occasional charter or renting a canoe and taking out 2 bucks, a wild hog, and a few squirrels in the field.

Saltwater n metal never mix together. ESP around the suspension area.
