Isle of Palms advise needed, Hillbilly's a comming

(sorry for the cross post from general fishing forum)

Hello all, My brother and I will be in the Isle of Palms in the last week of May for some kayak fishing and general vacationing. We could really use some insight. We are freshwater fishing Hillbillies from Kentucky and could use some local advise. OK, not really Hillbillies, but everyone expects Kentuckians to be.

Basic fishing pointers; what species of fish are our best bet from inshore kayaking and suggested baits?

Local seafood shop suggestion, any wholesale spots for oysters, shrimp or crabs?

Anyone interested in doing some fishing that week?

Thanks in advance, Greg from the Derby City

KY, check with Haddrells or Charleston Angler when you get here or check them out on-line.

Hey BillyBob
Read the posting titled “2 kayakers lost 1 found” and ask questions about how not to die while kayak fishing on vacation!!! Make sure you have and wear all the right safety gear. And remember the old saying “Never leave the boat until the boat leaves you”.
