12 or 20 guage for daughter for Christmas not
looking for expensive but a nice used field gun
would do great prefer auto but pump action is ok too !!
How about a reliable, easy to operate and safe (gun safety engages every time action opens) side by side? I have a hard to find Stevens 20-gauge model 311A that is just taking up space in the safe. Let me know if you are interested, this is a good shooting little gun and hard to find in 20-gauge. Just enough weight to keep it from kicking too hard but light enough to walk for quail or tote in the dove field.

Look at where Jesus went to pick people. He didn’t go to the colleges; he got guys off the fishing docks.

PM’s have been answered.
Get her a 20ga Benelli M2 or M1 if you can find it.
Great guns, will last forever, easy to maintain, and hardly kicks.
I borrow my wife’s gun all the time for doves, snipe, hens, wood ducks, etc. They are sweet.
I agree on the Benelli M1/M2, sweet gun.
But that Franchi sounds interesting…
I bought my wife a Franchi Affinity 20 guage. I think I paid around $700 brand new. It’s a sweet little gun. Light weight. Very little kick… I would buy it again in a heartbeat. Maybe you can find one used.
