Looking for a .357 in good condition for a secondary carry gun. Prefer S&W but open to other brands. I have my CWP and am more than willing to do necessary paperwork with SLED. Thanks!

Just curious, why are you looking at a 357?
I have that Springfield XDS in 45 and love it. I’m always interested in other people’s opinions on the best carry guns.

I already have a M&P Shield .40 but my father was a revolver guy and I’m just ready to have a revolver for myself. And ithe .357 shoots .38 special as well so my girlfriend can get used to shooting a lighter load with her being comfortable

SP101 is the smallest .357 I would ever shoot. Lightweight and .357 don’t mix.
I carry a 4" 1911 in aluminum frame. Love it. Slim, light, very used to the 1911 function, and reliable.
I also carry a Ruger .38SPL in the summer. Thing is crazy light and disappears in light summer shorts pockets.

LCR?
I have lcp and while it is arguably more useful as a projectile itself, it also hides in a pair of boardshorts or anything else pretty remarkably.
how do you carry the 1911? I love the commander length ruger
I carry the 640pd with .357 in it. You can never get used to shooting that gun. Your gf will hate it even with 38s in it. Sweet gun but it actually will have issues shooting light loads. The recoil is so sharp that it will unseat the bullet and jam the cylinder preventing it from rotating. Take it from me, reconsider. There’s better choices at half the cost.

With that being said if you’re hell bent on buying one I’ll sell you mine for 900 with crimson trace grips on it. It’s the lightest .357 you can buy. Titanium/ Scandium. 843 582 1991

Yeah, I carry the LCR. Best carry revolver ever made IMO.
I carry the 1911 in an IWB leather holster. Just has a simple under the belt buckle, but has a metal mouth so the opening stays open when retrieved for re-holstering. Feels great in the winter with Jeans and an over shirt, or light jacket.

I had a crimson trace 340PD. One of the few I regret selling.
