Looking to purchase a gas caddy with wheels to keep from having to pull the boat out of the water to fuel up. Anybody else use one? Who has the best deals on them? Columbia area, Thanks
I’ve got one of the 15 gallon caddy, probably 7 or 8 years old. Used one weekend. Always stored in a closed building. The hose will need replacing, but otherwise it’s practically new. $50

Does it have a siphon pump or gravity feed?
Thanks
It has a hand pump that resembles a gas station nozzle. Squeeze the handle and it puts out gas. The nozzle will start a siphon. Pretty sure it came from west marine or boaters world when they were over in Harbison.

I tow my boat, but still looked into one of those Flo an Go’s at NT thinking it would be easier keeping some E-free at the house instead of ever having to go out of my way for it.
Like RDW said, you can prime it with the handle, but it is gravity fed. May work for you if your dock is higher than your tank, but just wasn’t practical for me.
The cost goes WAY up if you are wanting one with a true pump.

RDW, I PM’d you
My rig is not as sophisticated as a gas caddy but it works. I stopped by the local car wash that buys soap in 15 gallon plastic drums. They gave me an empty for free. I rinsed it out and let it dry for a couple of days before using it. I fill it with tier one alcohol free gas, put it on my hand truck, tie it down with a small ratchet strap and roll it to the dock at low tied. All I do for a siphon is I stick my siphon hose all the way into the drum and close my thumb over the end then pull the hose out, stick it in the gas fill on the boat and let it drain.
