ISO ugly stick tiger rod

I just made a purchase on Craigslist of a brand new 7’9" tiger rod. The action is light with a 10-30# line class. Now I need a second one. I plan on putting these on downriggers for Striper this summer. Here’s my problem; did I just buy a prototype or something? Can’t find one anywhere, amazon eBay bass pro nowhere Shakespeare’s website doesn’t even list them as a product. Any any help would be appreciated

? Maybe…

thats gonna be my next option if i can’t find one. i just hate a 2pc rod. the 7 9 is a 1pc. i have a call into shakespeare i guess we’ll see if they call back.

That’s the trouble with us striper fishermen, we always have to have stuff in pairs. I do it all the time. I get a deal on one and I’ll go pay retail for one to match.
I don’t see that rod @ http://www.shakespeare-fishing.com/index_rods.html . Is there a model # on it?

I have a 7 ft 12-30# Tiger rod

The model you are talking about is BWC220079. The reason you may not be able to find it online is because the shipping for a 7’9" one piece would be prohibitive. It was a production model, but if you cannot find one locally be prepared to pay $20 plus for the shipping.
But it is a great rod for what you want it for.

Too many fish, Too little time!

Thanks yea finally got in touch with Shakespeare and they said they discontinued the rod. Only hopes of finding one is through tackle dealers who buy all Shakespeare’s discontinued stuff things collecting dust in the warehouse…lol… We have a couple here in Columbia. Hope to find one soon.

I have Gunter’s # at work. I’ll try to remember to get it to you tomorrow.
