I know there is a Match up section, but I figured I would post here.
If anybody that fishes Murray would care to have an extra hand or 2, I would appreciate the opportunity. I will tell you it has been a long time since I have fished from a boat. Most of my last fishing was from the shore for Trout or trying for Walleye. Of course I would pay my share. If I could bring my youngest or middle one as a tagalong, that would be bonus.
I have only been here for a year in Hopkins and I don’t much about the west side, but directions I can follow.
yo…Dave…here in Lexington and the same… ready to go as soon as we have a good day:smiley: Ain’t been out in awhile-need to find some fish! Pm me. Breeze, I don’t want you to get jealous LOFREAKINL…
edited: may want to pm dernflatlander on this site for murray. Jim is a great guy and may be better on the keeper fish than my usual luck!
Jim is a guide on murray so it’s going to cost you to go…I’m sure he’s going to put you on more fish than 98% of the reset of us. I’ve been trying different areas lately with very little work. I hear they’re EVERYWHERE at the “y” and that the towers aren’t doing too bad theirselves
I got a keeper the last two trips so maybe it is getting better. I got a 22" last saturday and a 24" yesterday. I was suprised to see the lake still muddy above the elbow.
the lake has overall been nasty from the gap to back of hollow creek. Hard to pull lines b/c all of the pinestraw. When you get away from that the visibility is “0”…just muddy as hell
We went up in Buffalo Creek and read lots of fish but could not get any hits. There were a lot of boats, but I did not see many caught. And the few I saw caught were very short. The keeper came midlake on a hump just off of the river channel.
same here, trolled from big gap to acapulco, 1 striper pulldown (19") but marked fish the entire trip…big schools of bait and a lot of arches…not sure what the problem was…lures were at the correct depth
