How old is that Ithaca ??? I thought they went out of business
decades ago. I’ve got a Mod.51semi 12mag the wife bought used for

Gail, they were out for a while, but there’s some American guys trying to keep the model 37 alive still.

My first shotgun was an Ithaca lever action, single shot break barrel. Killed a lot of stupid squirrels, marsh hens and a few stupid ducks with that shotgun. I wonder who thought a lever action single shot was a good idea? Strange design, but it always went bang
They made great pump guns!

Hadn’t heard about a comeback , years back had a few failed ejects
and needed to replace the hook , finally located a fellow that
had bought out some of the “parts inventory” , he also told me there
was a few of the past employees making aftermarket parts through
an agreement they had managed to get !!! I haven’t had it out in several years now , probably need to run a few through it to see if it will still shoot, know it will though , never failed before.

I believe it’s a 1998. Used once in '99 and been in the safe since then.
