It's all in the Details

The sonar charts on my new nav+ regions card (used in my raymarine) are getting me DIALED In! The tight 1’ contours are making my scouting and fishing a pleasure. These tight contours are showing me the significant drops, holes, rises, essentially the fish highways. Paired with my sonar I am easily able to target the top of the drops, middle of the slople and the holes quickly and more effectively. By the way, the sonar charts came pre-loaded on my regions card. No need for me to download any charts online. Just plug and play, ha!

Has anyone else used the sonar charts on their chart cards?

Your card looks good and it will help you find fishing spots for sure . I just got my lowrance gen 2 touch in the mail yesterday . I don’t even know what comes with it besides genesis insights (I think) As soon as it cools down I will install and I hope it will be a good one . I read something about making my own maps in one foot intervals . Wonder if I can get a card like yours , all this is above my elite7 installed now . I see you have one of my close by lakes pulled up , maybe we’ll meet on the water one day . Enjoy it , you’ll like it !

I googled your numbers and came up with . Matthew 10:32 . Whoever acknowledges me before others, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven. But whoever disowns me before others, I will disown.

I must have put numbers in wrong , still nothing wrong with what I got for sure , Tight lines !

Fishingpox, you can get the Navionics+ Regions for your unit. You will be more than happy with it. Love mine. As i stated, I didn’t have to download a single thing. It came all pre-loaded with both navigational and sonar charts. I also record my sonar logs to better my maps as well which goes into an update. With sonar charts live you can view and have the changes saved immediately. Pretty cool. Yes, maybe we will meet out on the H2O one of these days.

Thanks man , I’ll get mine on the boat and get adjusted to it a little . There are so many cards out there I get confused ,not talking to anybody about what to get . When you say regions are you meaning southeast region ? Do you have a link for the right card .

I have the Lowrance Gen3 with the Insight maps and they are not really what I expected. I just ordered the Navionics Platinum plus card and cannot wait for it to get here. The sonar chart portion looks like it will be awesome.

Has anyone tried the autorouting feature?

Awesome, you are really going to like your new chart card. The sonar charts is key for targeting fishing on tight contours, holes, ledges, rises, etc… as these are the charts with the 1ft contours. The auto routing feature is really nice as well. It comes in handy to me when I a m planning a run over a good distance as it will give me estimated time, fuel consumption, etc…
