Thursday and Friday morning with the cooler temps in the upper 50’s. I’m taking those two days off, and a good buck is going to make a mistake.

they finally are eating the food plots at 2. Monsters.
Have big one on a licking branch near campsite

Hunting, fishing, and poker are my sports. Work when necessary.

Probably because many of the surrounding fields are being harvested. The more they open up the fields around you, the more the deer ought to fall back in on your place.

Well, you have to have patience to kill those big rascals, and you have to pass up the little ones. On top of checking the cameras too often, every time you pull the trigger or even go in the woods, you educate those deer. Managing pressure and timing it till conditions are right is the key. Hunting more and going in the woods a few minutes earlier is not the answer.

Thanks for sharing that Intel Skeeter. Us newbies have alot to learn. I’m happy to get some meat but a wall hanger would be nice.

Weather man lied like Hillary for the temps this weekend. They waited till Wednesday evening to change it too. It was nice and cool (mostly not as humid) Saturday morning, but not good enough yet.
