Jabez 4-22 and 4-23

Thursady weas our first trip for the year. We went to the Gtown Hole on a calm ocean. What a trip! We put lines in just above the SW Bank sand trolled up above the hole. Fish bit the whole way up. A steady bite of fish yeilded us 16 bfts in the box, 1 eaten by a shark and 1 got off by the boat. We also were able to manage 7 wahoo fo rthe box. Im not sure the exact number that got away but in just two passes we were got 3 of 6 and then 2 of 10. They were thick. We had wahoo on the teasers and every other line out at the same time. got a little crazy. Great way tot start the year.

Friday was another great day fishing and weather wise. We went back to the hole again and did the same thign as the day before. Fishing wasnt quite as good but we managed to get 13 bft’s and a wahoo. We caught 3 in the first 15 minutes of the day and it looked the bloodbath was going to exceed the previous day but then it sut off for us until the afternoon. The tuna started chasing the flying fish and the bite was on again. We actually had flying fish hitting the boat. They would hit the water stunned and the tunas were grabbing them not 15 feet away from the boat. What a show and a way to save a slow day. Fishign again this Thur, Fri, and Sat unless anybody wants to go before then.

Good job Ben, sounds like a great start to a very promising season, got my first charter going out Friday, will probably fish the boss before then.

Dang man! Save us a few fish! Nice work!

Good report Ben/wish I was there

nice report, would like to see some tuna that close to the boat…
