I have an Atlas jack plate that’s just over 2 years old. It stopped moving and is stuck in the lowest position.
I hear a click when I push the switch. Possibly a relay.
Any ideas on what could be wrong and how to go about fixing it?
Any help would be much appreciated.
It may have a replay for up, and a relay for down. If so, swap em and see what happens.
Or this may help…

Thanks for the help DoubleN.
I’ll look into that.
also, you can disconnect the wires going directly to the motor, and apply 12 volts directly to the wires. reversing the polarity on the wires will make it go the opposite direction.
that way you can tell if its the motor or the controls

IF I RESPOND IN ALL CAPS, ITS NOT ON PURPOSE, AND I AM NOT YELLING
thanks Chris. That’s the first thing that I looked at but the wire connection to the jack plate is located such that I can’t get my hand on it without removing the motor. I haven’t looked from the underside yet to see if I can get to anything.
